Egypt to Host the 2027 Darts World Cup as Minister of Youth and Sports Oversees Hosting Agreement Signing

Dr. Gawhar Nabil, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, attended the official signing ceremony of the agreement granting the Arab Republic of Egypt the right to host the 2027 Darts World Cup. The ceremony was held in the presence of Major General Khaled Fouda, Presidential Advisor for Local Development and Chairman of the Championship’s Supreme Organizing Committee, marking another milestone that reflects the international community’s growing confidence in Egypt’s ability to successfully host and organize major global sporting events.
The signing ceremony was also attended by members of the Egyptian Darts Federation’s Board of Directors, including Major General Gamal Youssef, Gouda Abu El Nour, and Engineer Zakaria Essam, alongside Dr. Mohamed El Kordy, Head of the Sports Sector at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Ahmed Mokhtar, Head of the Central Administration for Sports Performance.
The Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized that hosting the 2027 Darts World Cup represents another significant achievement in Egypt’s distinguished record of organizing prestigious international sporting events. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting national sports federations and expanding opportunities to attract and host major global championships, further strengthening Egypt’s position as a leading regional and international sports destination.
