Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Showcases Spectacular Bespoke Innovations and Creative Excellence in 2025
SME News Balkan.Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has marked 2025 as a defining year for its Bespoke programme, achieving unprecedented levels of creativity, technical innovation and client collaboration. Reflecting the evolving passions and personal stories of its clients, Bespoke commissions in 2025 explored themes ranging from family legacy and cultural symbolism to contemporary collectables and nature-inspired artistry, reinforcing Rolls-Royce’s position at the pinnacle of modern luxury.
The year represented the first full period of operation for Rolls-Royce’s global Private Office network in Dubai, Seoul, Shanghai and New York, alongside the original Private Office at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. These creative hubs enabled deeper collaboration between clients and designers, resulting in more than double the number of Private Office commissions year-on-year. In total, Rolls-Royce created 5,664 Bespoke motor cars worldwide in 2025, with Cullinan the most requested model, followed by the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre. Demand also rose significantly for luxury lifestyle accessories, while a £300 million site extension at Goodwood was announced to support growing Bespoke and Coachbuild activity.
“In 2025, Rolls-Royce Bespoke reached new creative and technical heights, extending far beyond traditional boundaries,” said Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “This was a year defined by thematic richness, global collaboration and artistic evolution. Every motor car is a singular expression of its owner’s vision, and together they reflect the spirit of innovation, craft and cultural fluency that defines Rolls-Royce today.”
Throughout the year, Rolls-Royce introduced new materials and techniques developed in response to highly individual commissions. These included three-dimensional ink layering, complex 3D marquetry, sculptural embroidery using self-supporting thread structures, 24-carat gold leaf detailing, polished concrete components and fully hand-painted Starlight Headliners. A patented fragrance concept was also created for the interior suite, further expanding the marque’s Bespoke repertoire.
The most significant expression of this creative philosophy was the Phantom Centenary Private Collection, created to commemorate 100 years of the Phantom nameplate. Strictly limited to 25 examples and developed over three years with more than 40,000 hours of craftsmanship, it represents the most complex and technologically ambitious Private Collection ever produced by Rolls-Royce. Each motor car features a two-tone exterior inspired by Hollywood’s black-and-white era, finished in a newly developed Super Champagne Crystal clear coat infused with champagne-coloured particles, and crowned with a solid gold Spirit of Ecstasy. Inside, the collection showcases an Anthology Gallery with hand-polished aluminium fins engraved with historic quotes, a Starlight Headliner embroidered with more than 440,000 stitches, couture-inspired printed and embroidered fabrics, and the most intricate woodwork ever created by the marque, incorporating 3D marquetry, ink layering and gold leafing.
Beyond Private Collections, Bespoke commissions in 2025 revealed clear creative themes. Many clients focused on family, memory and legacy, commissioning deeply personal motor cars inspired by love stories, childhood dreams and generational connections. Others looked to nature, place and the elements, drawing inspiration from celestial phenomena, architectural landmarks and seasonal beauty. Notable examples included Spectre Soulmate, featuring a Starlight Headliner mapping constellations over Kuala Lumpur on a significant date; Spectre Bailey, with a marquetry portrait of a beloved family dog; Cullinan Cosmos, showcasing Rolls-Royce’s first fully hand-painted Starlight Headliner; and Phantom Extended Cherry Blossom, inspired by Japan’s Hanami tradition and featuring sculptural 3D embroidery and more than 250,000 stitches.
Together, the Bespoke achievements of 2025 demonstrate Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ unwavering commitment to placing the client’s vision above all else. By continuously evolving materials, techniques and the commissioning experience itself, Rolls-Royce continues to define what modern luxury means in an increasingly personal, artistic and culturally expressive world.
